Regression confirmation

The engine refactor (full-expansion loop → generator micro-stepper) is behaviour-preserving: the iteration-1 race suite passes unchanged, and the generator matches the iteration-1 engine on every fixture. No regression introduced.

Issues found

None. All criteria pass; no security findings; no race regression.

Residual human-judgment item

Automated checks confirm the functional rendering (correct classes/overlays/cursors applied, correct text content). What remains is purely visual aesthetics — how the study layout, active-line/cursor highlighting, and narration actually look and feel in a browser — which a headless run cannot judge. Recommend a quick human look (as was done for iteration 1).

Outcome

Iteration 2 complete. R6 (teach each algorithm), R7 (highlight differences), and R8 (toggleable step-by-step pseudocode execution) are delivered and verified, with the iteration-1 race fully preserved.
