Adversarial pass. The full suite was re-run from scratch against the shipped restyled file (not trusting Execute), and the redesign's actual deliverable — visual elegance — was confirmed by direct user sign-off.

Security check results

Posture unchanged: offline single file, no network/auth/storage/secrets, no web fonts/CDNs.
Static scan clean across the restyled file: no innerHTML, eval, new Function, fetch, XMLHttpRequest, storage, or external/protocol-relative URLs.
A pure CSS/markup-class restyle introduced no new input or execution surface.

Regression confirmation

The 97-assertion behaviour suite (engine, race, study, gap-closing) passed unchanged against the restyled file. The segmented-control wrapper did not affect tool selection or aria-pressed; all class/ID selectors still resolve. No behavioural regression.

Issue resolved (carried from Execute)

The #ffd60a path vs light-gray closed state has low luminance contrast (1.11:1). Resolved by a non-colour inset ring on the final path (WCAG 1.4.1 — colour is not the sole channel), which is shipped and asserted. contrast.js documents the relationship rather than flagging a false fail. Verified clean.

User (human) verification — recorded

User confirmed directly: the redesign looks great ("looks amazing — love it"). This closes criterion 9 and the iteration's core goal (a lighter, cleaner, elegant Apple-style look), which only a person can judge.

Issues found

None. All criteria pass; no security findings; no behavioural regression.

Outcome

Iteration 3 complete. R9 (lighter, cleaner, simple & elegant — Apple-style) delivered and verified, with all prior race + study behaviour preserved unchanged.
